Filip Daems (born 31 October 1978 in Turnhout, Belgium) is a Belgian footballer.[1]
Daems is a defender who played for Belgian club Geel. He then moved to Lierse S.K. and Gençlerbirliği S.K. In January 2005 he signed for Borussia Mönchengladbach.
He has played eight times for the Belgian national team.
Daems scored his first goal for Borussia Mönchengladbach on 23 October 2007 during a 2. Bundesliga match against 1. FC Köln. His score saved his team from losing. Eventually, his goal contributed a 2–2 draw for the team.
